Wrocławski Sound 2012 at Impart: a fourth edition and twelve local projects

The next edition of this showcase, now a celebration of Wrocław music for artists and audiences alike, takes place on the final October weekend. Join Wrocławski Sound on 26 and 27 October at Impart in Wrocław.

Year after year, the Wrocławski Sound showcase is making a stronger impression on musicians and music fans, as well as establishing its place in Wrocław’s cultural calendar. This year’s event is organised by Biuro Festiwalowe Impart 2016 in collaboration with our agency, LIONSTAGE Management. The fourth edition will run for two days, presenting new discoveries from Wrocław’s music scene alongside the work of established Lower Silesian artists.

“This year, we will hear 12 of Wrocław’s most interesting musical projects of recent months, some in new versions and arrangements. There will also be Wrocław concert premieres presenting the latest material by artists invited to the showcase, alongside experimental stage projects. As in previous years, the Wrocławski Sound programme will be announced in mid-September at an official press conference. This year’s programme will again span many genres, including nu-jazz, electronics, dub, pop and rock. One of our event’s main aims is to present the broadest possible spectrum of Wrocław’s music scene without confining ourselves to any musical framework,” says Tomek Lektarski, who is responsible for the showcase programme.
