The first Wrocławski Sound: a showcase of the independent scene and young artists from Wrocław
The first Wrocławski Sound was conceived as a meeting point for the city’s independent musicians and audiences. The showcase preview introduced emerging talent and the idea of seeking artistic meaning beyond the mainstream.

On 2–3 October, Wrocławski Sound takes place in Lower Silesia's capital. It was created for artists working within a phenomenon whose distinctiveness led journalists, fans and observers to call it Wrocław's independent music scene.
Wrocławski Sound was created for open-minded people, artists and audiences seeking content and meaning beyond the mainstream. It aims to show a wider public the niche, energetic, top-class work of Wrocław's young artists, and demonstrate to those artists that the city has space for their activities.
“We decided to compile an explosive mixture for devoted connoisseurs and to blow the minds of those still searching. We wanted to show off Wrocław's alternative gems and give young, unknown, emerging talents space to develop and present themselves. Varied, surprising and refined: that is what Wrocławski Sound should be.”
Wrocławski Sound is an event for those who love art away from the paths marked out by mass media. For those with open minds, curious about what happens outside the mainstream. Also for those whose hearts belong to Wrocław or the artists creating here. Wrocławski Sound is not for everyone.
