Guitar Guinness World Record 2018: The Dead Daisies and the sixteenth attempt in Wrocław’s Market Square
This is already the event’s 16th edition, growing more popular each year. As always, alongside the record attempt, there will be concerts by excellent artists. Can we beat the 2016 record this year? To play with us, bring a guitar and know the basic chords C/G/D/A/E required for Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Joe”. Bring your friends too: we need 7,356 instruments! Every guitar counts, whether electric, bass, acoustic or classical, as do related instruments including the balalaika, ukulele and banjo.
SUPERGROUP THE DEAD DAISIES CONFIRMED
The Guitar Guinness World Record 2018 will, of course, take place on 1 May in Wrocław’s Market Square.
As tradition dictates, leading artists will visit the Market Square stage, not only giving concerts but also joining us in the record attempt. This year, we can look forward to musical surprises such as a concert of Carlos Santana songs, which will need every guitar we gather in Wrocław's Market Square that day.
The stage will feature Cree, among others, playing a concert commemorating Ryszard Riedel's work. Supporting the guitarists' efforts will be musicians from Kreator, supergroup The Dead Daisies, Sinfonity — the world-famous electric guitar symphony orchestra — and one of Poland's leading bands and audience favourites, Perfect.
Supporting our record attempt will also be Andrzej Nowak (TSA), Ryszard Sygitowicz (Perfect), Wojtek Hoffman (Turbo), Sebastian Riedel, Paweł “Drak” Grzegorczyk (Hunter), Michał Jelonek, Grzegorz Markowski, LeBurn Maddox, Łukasz Łyczkowski and Michael Molenda, editor-in-chief of America's “Guitar Player” magazine.
Every registered participant in the Guitar Guinness World Record attempt can also obtain special discounted tickets for the 3-Majówka festival, taking place from 1 to 3 May at Wrocław’s Pergola.

Dane z dawnej strony LIONSTAGE.
Żeby zagrać z nami musisz wziąć gitarę i znać podstawowe akordy C/G/D/A/E, potrzebne do zagrania utworu „Hey Joe” Jimiego Hendrixa. Weź też ze sobą znajomych – potrzebujemy aż 7356 instrumentów! Każda gitara się liczy – elektryczna, basowa, akustyczna, klasyczna, a również instrumenty pokrewne jak bałałajka, ukulele czy banjo.
