XXANAXX and “Gradient” in the Gothic Hall: a concert on the album’s release date in Wrocław

26 OCTOBER 2018

The group set out to create a record that breaks free from formulaic production. XXANAXX never stand still: through constant exploration, curiosity and creative resolve, they take listeners towards new areas of their musical work. One thing remains unchanged, however: the new album will certainly reflect what is most characteristic of XXANAXX — rich, spacious sounds complemented by exceptionally sensual vocals.

Klaudia Szafrańska and Michał Wu, XXANAXX’s core members, crossed professional paths in 2012, resulting in “Disappear”. Releases including “Xxanaxx EP”, “Triangles” and “FWRD”, full of contemporary sounds and unconventional musical solutions, received favourable reviews and consolidated the group’s Polish position. Appearances at major festivals including Open’er, Audioriver, Tatarak, Selektor, Matla Festival and The Great Escape won them legions of loyal fans filling clubs and concert halls throughout Poland.
