Wee Dub Festival in Edinburgh: three days of reggae and dub with African Head Charge and Mungo’s Hi-Fi
The fourth Wee Dub Festival announces three days of reggae and dub in Edinburgh with African Head Charge, Mungo’s Hi-Fi and Iration Steppas. Club sessions sit alongside workshops, film screenings and activities for younger audiences, offering different ways into bass culture.
The fourth edition of Edinburgh's pioneering reggae and dub festival will take place on 7–9 March. As is traditional, the Scottish capital's entire Old Town will vibrate with bass pulses. Last year, the festival almost sold out.
More than 2000 people attended the events, travelling to Scotland from across the UK and continental Europe.
This year's festival line-up is by far the largest gathering of reggae/dub and sound system stars ever invited to Scotland. Edinburgh's club stages will feature African Head Charge, Channel One Sound System, Iration Steppas, Mungo's Hi-Fi and Solo Banton, among others.
Every day of the event features 2 sessions with the genre’s finest artists. The organisers have also prepared a wealth of activities, including workshops, film screenings and events for the youngest participants.
