A ROCK INDEPENDENCE DAY IN WROCŁAW
Join us for a special rock celebration of 11 November: two concerts recommended to every Polish-music fan! At Wrocław’s Centennial Hall, in the spirit of wROCK for Freedom, artists will mark the anniversary of Poland regaining independence with powerful sounds and timeless hits. KULT take the stage on 9 November, drawing crowds as always to their traditional autumn concert on the Pomarańczowa Trasa. The following day, 10 November, LADY PANK and KASIA KOWALSKA invite everyone to sing familiar hits together, celebrating freedom, community and Polish music’s strength.
CELEBRATING FREEDOM, COMMUNITY AND THE POWER OF POLISH MUSIC
On 9 November, Kult, led by the charismatic Kazik Staszewski, will deliver an evening of high-energy music. For more than 35 years, the band have addressed major social and political issues, becoming the voice of a generation while remaining close to younger listeners. It is a treat for anyone seeking two hours of intense, authentic music, from sharp riffs to the trumpets and keyboards that have become the group’s hallmark.
The following day, 10 November, we recommend the Lady Pank and Kasia Kowalska concert. Lady Pank, a band inspiring and moving successive generations for decades, will once again delight fans with their energy and unforgettable hits, including songs from the famous album Ohyda. This is a chance to travel back in time and rediscover the rebellious atmosphere of the 80s.
Celebrating 30 years on stage, Kasia Kowalska will perform songs full of emotion and nostalgia, including material from the anniversary “30 lat Gemini” tour. She promises a memorable performance attracting long-standing fans and new listeners to Antidotum and her many other hits alike.
Wrocław celebrates the anniversary of regained independence with joy, and for these two days Centennial Hall will become an arena of rock energy to which we return every year.
