RALPH KAMIŃSKI AT CITY SOUNDS
City Sounds invites you to a concert by the discovery of the last musical season. Following appearances at the biggest festivals (Open'er, OFF, Kraków Live, Soundrive), RALPH KAMINSKI will sing in Wrocław! The concert takes place on 5 December in the Gothic Hall at Stary Klasztor.
5 DECEMBER 2017
Ralph Kaminski is a singer, lyricist and composer creating original music stylistically rooted in art pop, with elements of film music and generous use of violin and piano. Ralph graduated from the Jazz and Popular Music department at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and also studied at CODARTS University of the Arts in Rotterdam. He is also artistically associated with Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdańsk.
He has won numerous prestigious awards and distinctions, including CARPATHIA 2011's Grand Prix and FAMA 2013 International Artistic Campus's main award. In 2014, he also received a nomination for the prestigious artNoble award in music.
The album's songs form a cohesive, very personal body of material created entirely by Kaminski. His music is mature, profound and moving, largely thanks to the artist's varied voice, which defies obvious classification.
