Nut Ferment #08: Sedes covered Hetane’s “Czarne okna” | Music programme on YouTube
news
Hetane, HooDoo Band and Sedes exchanged repertoire. Electronics and an expanded instrumental palette, a blues ensemble and a punk trio found common ground in interpreting songs.
On 10 May 2015, episode 8 of Nut Ferment took place at Scena Ciśnień in Wrocław’s Capitol Musical Theatre. Konrad Imiela hosted the meeting, with live performances interspersed with conversation.
Each guest performed songs from their own repertoire and interpreted a piece associated with another participant. Passing songs between the artists brought different voices, instruments and approaches to the same stage.
The opening song
The title song “Nut Ferment” was performed by Łukasz Wójcik. Tomasz Leszczyński composed the music and Konrad Imiela wrote the lyrics.
Hetane
Hetane featured Magdalena Oleś on vocals and Łukasz Pol on guitar, electronics and programming. Cello, bass and two surdo drums broadened the concert’s instrumental palette. The repertoire brought original lyrics together with poetry by Stanisław Wyspiański and Tadeusz Gajcy.
The set included “Spy” and “Nienawidzimy”. The exchange added “I Can’t Stand It”, from the repertoire of HooDoo Band.

The set included “Green Eyed Monster” and “Wolny blues”. The exchange added “Impas”, from the repertoire of Sedes.

The set included “Nie dotykajcie mnie” and “Ślimak”.
