Nut Ferment #07: Bethel played Poprzytula’s “Nibylandia” | Music programme on YouTube

Bethel, Poprzytula and Paśko i Zespół Co To carried songs through three different band sounds. Original lyrics met the poetry of Agnieszka Osiecka.
On 26 April 2015, episode 7 of Nut Ferment took place at Scena Ciśnień in Wrocław’s Capitol Musical Theatre. Konrad Imiela hosted the meeting, with live performances interspersed with conversation.
Each guest performed songs from their own repertoire and interpreted a piece associated with another participant. Passing songs between the artists brought different voices, instruments and approaches to the same stage.
The opening song
The title song “Nut Ferment” was performed by Justyna Antoniak accompanied by Łukasza Wójcika. Tomasz Leszczyński composed the music and Konrad Imiela wrote the lyrics.
Bethel
Bethel appeared with singer and guitarist Grzegorz Wlaźlak. The seven-person line-up also included keyboards, trumpet and an expanded percussion section. Its own songs were paired with “Nibylandia” by Poprzytula.
The set included “Czas wspomnień” and “Pomiędzy niebem a ziemią”.

Poprzytula featured Alicja Kalinowska on vocals and keyboards, Jakub Mitoraj on guitar, and Grzegorz Posłuszny and Michał Piotrowski. Its songs brought original lyrics together with the poetry of Agnieszka Osiecka. The exchange linked the group with Bethel and Przemysław Paśko’s band.
The set included “Haiku” and “Blus”. The exchange added “Słowa”, from the repertoire of Paśko i Zespół Co To.

Paśko i Zespół Co To is the group led by songwriter Przemysław Paśko. It took the place of the previously announced HooDoo Band in this episode. The line-up included Konrad Imiela, Adam Skrzypek, Andrzej Szeremet, Sebastian Skrzypek and Dominik Gawroński.
The set included “Skala” and “Wojna”. The exchange added “Zabrali mi skrzydła”, from the repertoire of Bethel.
