Nut Ferment #04: Piotr Bartyś hosted the fourth episode | Music programme on YouTube
news
Joanna Kwaśnik, Neony and Digit All Love brought together three different line-ups and approaches to sound. Passing a song to another performer remained their shared starting point.
On 18 January 2015, episode 4 of Nut Ferment took place at Scena Ciśnień in Wrocław’s Capitol Musical Theatre. Piotr Bartyś hosted the meeting, with live performances interspersed with conversation.
Each guest performed songs from their own repertoire and interpreted a piece associated with another participant. Passing songs between the artists brought different voices, instruments and approaches to the same stage.
The opening song
The title song “Nut Ferment” was performed by Emose Uhunmwangho. Tomasz Leszczyński composed the music and Konrad Imiela wrote the lyrics.
Joanna Kwaśnik
Joanna Kwaśnik appeared under her own name, accompanied by keyboard player Tomasz Jędrzejewski and bassist Piotr Mazurek. Her own songs “Fight” and “How Can I” framed a performance that also reached into Neony’s repertoire.
The exchange also brought “13”.

Neony appeared as the trio of Dawid Zając, Grzegorz Sawa-Borysławski and Tomasz Garbera. Vocals, guitar, bass and drums provided the setting for “Winda” and “Plac zabaw”. Their exchange with Digit All Love introduced another approach to the same song.
The exchange also brought “Will You Dare”.

Digit All Love was led by Maciej Zakrzewski, with Joanna Piwowar-Antosiewicz on vocals. Electronics and synthesizers met violin, viola and cello in this line-up. “2.37” and “Lick Your Enemy Right” represented the group’s own repertoire.
The exchange also brought “Don't Break Me”.
