Summer is getting closer, so it is time for WrocLove Summer Stage! Over two June weekends, we will enjoy the finest Polish music. This summer series of outdoor concerts takes place in an atmospheric spot near Wrocław Zoo and Centennial Hall: Park na Wyspie, ul. Wróblewskiego 9.

A MUSICAL SUMMER AT PARK NA WYSPIE
The concert series will open with an act who need no introduction: Waglewski Fisz Emade. After several years, they returned to the studio together to create a new album, “Duchy ludzi i zwierząt”. Wojtek Waglewski says of it: “Our new songs are different from the old ones, more beautiful. The album will also be more beautiful and different…” Fans will nevertheless find the familiar sounds that characterise the band. The concert will certainly also feature the Waglewski family’s best-known songs.
On 12 June, the stage will belong to Król, a major discovery on Poland’s alternative scene. He too will promote his latest album, “Dziękuję”, released in early April. Król’s career has accelerated considerably recently, thanks to awards including the Paszport POLITYKI and Fryderyk, as well as his taking the helm of Męskie Granie Orkiestra 2020 alongside Daria Zawiałow and Igo. His concert will be a major event!
On 13 June, it will be time for a female voice: specifically, Rosalie. She is a singer and songwriter whose style, poised between mainstream and underground, is most often described as alternative R&B influenced by soul, electronica and hip-hop. Her latest album, “IDeal”, was released in the first quarter of last year, and we will have the pleasure of hearing it during her performance.
Two weeks later, we return to Park na Wyspie: on 25 June, rock legend Lech Janerka himself will perform! A Wrocław native, rock musician, composer, bassist and lyricist, he emerged on the Polish rock scene in the late seventies and still reigns over it today. Lech Janerka transforms the world with melodic cries and carefully crafted phrases, turning song lyrics into rhythmic spells. His WrocLove Summer Stage performance will certainly remain in our memories for a long time.
26 June brings heavier sounds with Hunter. Over 35 years, the band have become legends, known for a unique atmosphere, unusual sounds and wordplay, uncommon instruments, rich stage designs and carefully conceived live shows.
The final day of WrocLove Summer Stage closes with Raz, Dwa, Trzy…, a band proving for years that it is possible to follow your own path, ideas and aesthetic while achieving popularity, fans’ enormous attention and critics’ enduring goodwill. “Ważne piosenki” journeys through their musical world. Against a backdrop of important songs, Adam Nowak tells stories of life, love and the human soul’s corners, examining our shortcomings, questioning life’s meaning and wrestling with belief and unbelief.
