SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINE – A CHARITY CONCERT AT STARY KLASZTOR
“I love and understand freedom; I cannot give freedom away…” We dedicate these lyrics by Chłopcy z Placu Broni, written in the turbulent 1980s, to our neighbours beyond the eastern border fighting for their freedom, and to our Ukrainian friends living, studying and working in Wrocław.

HELPING UKRAINE WITH A BENEFIT CONCERT
On 12 March, artists associated with Stary Klasztor invite you to the SOLIDARNI Z UKRAINĄ benefit concert, ‘Wolność kocham i rozumiem’. All proceeds will support refugees from Ukraine.
The concert will feature Polish rock songs from the eighties and songs of freedom and protest from around the world. Alongside the title song, “Wolność kocham i rozumiem”, Stary Klasztor will ring out with “Sen o Victorii”, “Chcemy być sobą”, “Mój dom murem podzielony”, “Nie macie władzy na świecie” and “Mój jest ten kawałek podłogi”, as well as “Freedom”, “Give Peace a Chance”, “Imagine” and many others. There will also be songs by Solidarity’s bard, Jacek Kaczmarski.
All proceeds from concert tickets will be donated to help refugees from Ukraine.
In addition to tickets, we encourage you to buy extra donation vouchers: you can purchase several, according to your financial means. The amount raised will be paid into the account of Wrocław's St. Hedwig Foundation (http://fundacja-swjadwigi.pl/), which has been helping Ukraine for years.
The organisers, technical crew and artists receive no payment for their work on this concert.
Ukrainian citizens living in Wrocław are invited to the concert free of charge.

„Wolność kocham i rozumiem, wolności oddać nie umiem…” – te słowa piosenki zespołu Chłopcy z Placu Broni, powstałej w burzliwych latach 80', dedykujemy walczącymi o swoją wolność sąsiadom zza wschodniej granicy oraz naszym ukraińskim przyjaciołom mieszkającym, studiującym i pracującym we Wrocławiu.
