Steve’N’Seagulls
27 OCTOBER 2024
It might have been a cold winter’s day or a warm summer’s night in Finland, but it was around 2010. Someone had the idea of combining bluegrass, Finnish folk music and rock/metal. The result was Steve'n'Seagulls, and has been ever since. This is the band you had been missing without even knowing it — and now you want to hear them again. This merry bunch from Finland in Northern Europe are playing harder and faster than ever.
To put it briefly, in 2014 the band filmed three live videos on a farm. The second, their fresh new take on AC/DC classic “Thunderstruck”, conquered the internet. Suddenly, this flock of seagulls found themselves touring the world, recording an album and playing more intensely than ever.
Since 2014, Steve'n'Seagulls have recorded four studio albums. Their debut, “Farm Machine” (2015), took them on a 170-show tour of Europe and North America. They played for and delighted audiences everywhere from small clubs to Europe's biggest festivals.
Their second album, “Brothers in Farms” (2016), continued this path and took the band to the top of the Billboard bluegrass chart, making them the first Finnish band ever to reach it. They continued touring Europe and North America at a rate of more than 130 shows a year, and released their third album, “Grainsville”, in 2018.
Like its predecessor, “Grainsville” featured rearranged classics and original Seagulls music. Its tour took the band to three continents and over 180 concerts. When things go well, they keep rolling. In 2020, Steve'n'Seagulls released their fourth studio album, “Another Miracle”. Their most ambitious to date, it contains half original music and half classics reimagined. And you guessed it: as soon as the pandemic allows, these boys will tour Europe, North America, South America and Australia.
All four Steve'n'Seagulls albums have charted in Finland and on Billboard’s bluegrass chart. Their videos have nearly 280 million YouTube views. They have played major festivals including Wacken Open Air, Rencontres Trans Musicales, Nova Rock and Sweden Rock. In over 30 countries across four continents, audiences from small clubs to major halls have witnessed their musical adventures and pure enjoyment. And the flight continues!!!

I lot trwa dalej!!! BILETY
