Selah Sue at Eter: “Raggamuffin”, “This World” and a Belgian blend of soul and reggae
Selah Sue pairs a soulful voice with reggae and guitar-led songwriting, familiar from “This World” and “Raggamuffin”. The preview of the Belgian singer’s return to Eter explored her debut and collaborations with Cee Lo Green and Meshell Ndegeocello.

After a sold-out tour in March, the recent sensation returns to Poland for the final concerts promoting ‘Raggamuffin’! The artist behind ‘This World’ will perform at Wrocław’s Eter club on 13 December!
Selah Sue, whose real name is Sanne Putseys, is a newcomer described as Europe’s answer to Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill. Born in 1989, the young Belgian with distinctive looks has become a recent musical sensation thanks to her album Raggamuffin. Her superb singles This World and Raggamuffin have conquered European charts! Her top-quality mixture of soul, funk, reggae, rock, hip-hop and pop delighted Prince himself! Enchanted, the Purple One invited Selah to support him in Antwerp, an offer she naturally accepted. Major music stars, including Nneka, joined her in the studio while she worked on her debut.

Meshell Ndegeocello also assisted with production on Mommy, while Cee-Lo Green joined her for a duet on Please. Selah wrote most songs herself, composing the first at 15 while accompanying herself on guitar! Music critics believe Janelle Monae and M.I.A. have a formidable new rival for whom music has no boundaries. Earlier this year, the singer played 2 concerts that sold out within weeks! Now she returns especially for Polish fans with a final series of concerts promoting Raggamuffin. From January, she begins recording another album and will not perform live for more than a year!
