Raging Fyah in Wrocław: Jamaican Reggae Revival and the live sound of roots reggae
Raging Fyah develops Jamaica’s Reggae Revival movement through the live sound of roots reggae. The preview of the band’s return to Stary Klasztor introduced an acoustic version of material from its next album, following the debut “Judgement Day”.

Raging Fyah are perfect proof that reggae is alive and well, and that the Reggae Revival movement and its artists are going from strength to strength. Having won international audiences over with their debut album “Judgement Day”, the group return to Wrocław on 20 July to perform acoustic material from their new record. The concert will take place in the atmospheric Gothic interior of Stary Klasztor music club, near the Market Square at ul. Purkyniego 1.
“Destiny”, released on 17 June, confirms that Raging Fyah have matured not only in age, but also through the wealth of musical experience gained in recent years. In Wrocław, the group will play a truly special acoustic concert, a format in which they are rarely seen live. This unplugged show will be an excellent choice for all reggae lovers: subtle and calm, yet still firmly rooted in the band’s distinctive sound.
Raging Fyah is one of the most talented and fastest-developing groups ever to emerge on the Jamaican music scene. Formed in 2006, the band comprises six wonderful musicians: Anthony Watson, Courtland White, Demar Gayle, Delroy Hamilton, Kumar Bent and Mahlon Moving, who decided to rekindle the flame of positive messages within the music industry. Although their versatility allows them to play every genre, most of their songs, inspired by their passion for creating and their life experiences, are simply roots rock reggae. They write their own songs and lyrics, with every word touching the listener’s soul, lifting the spirits and motivating people from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds towards positive action.
Their melodic playing and vocal harmonies are frequently compared to legends Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Third World. They run Raging Fyah Productions, releasing debut single “Peace Reigns”, then “Fight”, and “H20 Riddim”, featuring recordings by several popular reggae and dancehall artists. With every note and song, they seek to change the world, lighting hope in darkness and breaking barriers between people.
They have two albums to their name: the acclaimed debut “Judgement Day” and the latest release, “Destiny”. They have also played dozens of concerts worldwide, appearing at Rototom Sunsplash, Summerjam, Garrance Reggae Festival and Reggae Sun Ska Festival, among others.
