Przystanek Woodstock 2016: Inner Circle and Jamaican reggae in the Main Stage programme

ANOTHER ADVENTURE AT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FESTIVAL

Inner Circle will perform on the Main Stage on the very first day! The band's more than twenty-year history on the reggae scene contains far more than might appear at first glance. This five-piece Jamaican group have a Grammy to their name and have been among their genre's most respected representatives since the 1970s.

Inner Circle’s musical style, combining pop-seasoned Jamaican rhythms with incredible energy, brought the group enormous success. The reggae spirit present in all their live shows allowed them to transcend their genre’s traditional boundaries and create a highly appealing combination of styles. They appear at festivals worldwide, rightfully taking star billing alongside icons such as Elton John, Van Morrison, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Carlos Santana. Do not miss this concert!

We will see Dilated Peoples on the festival’s final day, shortly before its conclusion, also on the Main Stage. The rappers, who released four acclaimed albums, toured and succeeded as solo artists, have returned and reunited after an eight-year break. Dilated Peoples are back with “Directors of Photography”. Evidence, Rakaa (Iriscience) and DJ Babu present new recordings that perfectly illustrate each member’s individual abilities and prove the extraordinary chemistry they share. The new release shows that the performers have reached the highest level of skill and artistry. Their appearance will be a real treat for fans of unconventional musical combinations and incredible spectacles!

Przystanek Woodstock 2016 will also host many other artists, including The Hives, Decapitated, Apocalyptica, Lacuna Coil and Tarja Turunen. Every music and outdoor concert fan must come to Kostrzyn nad Odrą in mid-July for the world's most beautiful festival!
