Nut Ferment #18: Cyrk Deriglasoff with tuba, trombone and saxophone | Music programme on YouTube
news
Frankenstein Children, Strain and Cyrk Deriglasoff met in the eighteenth Nut Ferment. The guitar-led groups paired their own repertoire with interpretations of the other participants’ songs.
On 3 March 2019, episode 18 of Nut Ferment took place at Scena Ciśnień in Wrocław’s Capitol Musical Theatre. Konrad Imiela hosted the meeting, with live performances interspersed with conversation.
Each guest performed songs from their own repertoire and interpreted a piece associated with another participant. Passing songs between the artists brought different voices, instruments and approaches to the same stage.
Frankenstein Children
Frankenstein Children is a quartet from Ząbkowice Śląskie, combining indie rock, psychedelia and dance punk. Its first EP was recorded in 2013, followed by the album “I’m Here Somewhere” in 2016. Szymon Paczkowski, Wojciech Opioła, Radek Baranowski and Daniel Moskal played in the episode.
The set included “Oddech” and “I Don’t Wanna Be Good”. The exchange added “Foggy Town”, from the repertoire of Strain.

Strain formed in Wrocław around the turn of 2010 and 2011. The self-titled debut, made with producer Bartosz Straburzyński, was released in 2015. The group reached the final of “Must Be the Music” in 2016 and brought its own songs and a Cyrk Deriglasoff cover to this meeting.
The set included “Every Dime” and “Szybowiec”. The exchange added “Leżę leżę…”, from the repertoire of Cyrk Deriglasoff.

The set included “Babagadadodziada and “Ludzie mówią o mnie”. The exchange added “Moment”, from the repertoire of Frankenstein Children.
