A NEW DATE FOR THE GUITAR WORLD RECORD 2021 IS HERE!

30 YEARS OF CICHOŃSKI’S GUITAR BIBLE

This year's Guitar Record venue is a one-off, chosen solely for safety reasons: next year the event will return to Wrocław's Market Square. You know the Pergola very well: every year it hosts the star concerts accompanying the Record.

Playing safely at Pergola.

You can trust us. We have many years’ experience producing large music events, including in difficult circumstances. Wrocław’s authorities recognised the safety arrangements for the Pergola concerts held during the pandemic and our cooperation with sanitary services as exemplary. The guitar celebration will therefore follow the applicable public-health regulations and necessary restrictions. Throughout the event, the message “Distance – disinfection – mask” will remain in force. Depending on current restrictions, the number of participants at the Pergola may be limited to some extent, so joining the shared record attempt online is worthwhile.

We play in windows, on balconies and in gardens.

In 2020, you proved that music knows no borders! The Guitar Record took place entirely online, with no fewer than 7,998 guitarists from around the world playing “Hey Joe” together! You sent us over 5,000 photos and videos. More than 110,000 viewers watched the concert broadcast in total, from Poland through London and Spain to the USA. We hope even more of you will join us this year!

Guitarists around the world – unite!

We call on cultural centres, guitar schools and all guitar fans, from Wrocław to Zanzibar, to join the mobilisation. On 19 June, we attempt the Guitar World Record — in Wrocław and online!!
