Gentleman & The Evolution at WrocLove Fest: reggae and dancehall on Wyspa Słodowa

One of the world's biggest reggae stars, Gentleman, announces further Polish concerts! Delighted by performing before 700 thousand people at the last Przystanek Woodstock, he has decided to play for his Polish fans again in 2012. Join us for Gentleman's concert on 20 June on Wrocław's Wyspa Słodowa as part of WrocLove Fest.

This undisputed European reggae master is visiting Poland again, and his concerts have remained popular for years, far beyond reggae devotees! Perhaps because he skilfully adds dancehall, hip-hop and R&B to traditional Jamaican compositions, creating a unique whole. His intelligent, meaningful lyrics also deserve attention, sharing opinions including on important social and political issues.

Over his years in music, Gentleman has collaborated with many outstanding artists, while his albums and songs have become firmly established in contemporary reggae’s canon. Critics appreciate his work’s continual progress. He constantly adds new sounds and subjects, remaining open to everything fresh and intriguing. Another release will join his discography in 2012: “The Best Of” has been announced, the first compilation of Gentleman’s finest and most popular songs.
