Dope D.O.D. at Kortowiada: Dutch rap and a collaboration with Sean Price

DOPE D.O.D. will appear at this year’s Olsztyn Juwenalia, Kortowiada. The band takes Kortowiada’s main stage tomorrow!

Dutch crew Dope D.O.D. provide a perfect example of how much can be achieved in music in a relatively short time. Within less than three years of their first video's release, they were invited to support Limp Bizkit and share concerts with KoRn, and appeared at numerous important European festivals.

To revisit Dope D.O.D.’s beginnings, return to January 2011 and their first video, “What Happened”, now viewed over 13 million times. VidZone, one of the world’s largest music-video services, soon offered to feature it as One To Watch across its network. This generated interest among fans worldwide and their first international performances.

The next step towards international success was collaboration with Sean Price, one of America's most respected hip-hop artists, who invited the band to work on “Psychosis”. The connection between an unknown crew and a legend attracted the hip-hop community's attention, and their joint track was warmly received from the USA to Russia.
