Gentlemen, take note: the question of presents for your loved ones in the near future has just solved itself!
Chris Botti is an outstanding smooth-jazz trumpeter and undoubtedly one of the world’s most recognisable jazz musicians. He performs solo and as a session musician, working with stars including Sting, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. He has also performed with Diana Krall, Jill Scott, Michael Buble and Rod Stewart. Through persistence and hard work, he has achieved commercial success rarely seen among jazz artists. He has numerous Grammy nominations and three number-one positions on Billboard’s Jazz Albums chart to his name.
Sting himself, fascinated by his work, described him as an “ambassador of the jazz world”. The musician’s latest solo record, “Impressions”, appeared in 2012. On it, Botti turned to familiar, readily recognisable songs that once convinced him of the importance of melody in musical composition, alongside timeless hits such as “What A Wonderful World”, “Summertime” and “Over the Rainbow”. The album also grew out of conversations with fans during his recent tours and numerous inspirations from different cultures. It was appreciated by fans and critics alike, winning a Grammy last year in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category.
Chris Botti loves performing live and happily returns to Poland, where audiences always welcome him enthusiastically.
