3-Majówka 2018 beside Centennial Hall: Kreator, The Dead Daisies and guitar ensemble Sinfonity

As every year, Wrocław's 3-Majówka opens Poland's outdoor festival season. Over the long May holiday weekend, the heart of Wrocław traditionally welcomes leading bands from the national popularity charts, veterans of rock stages and new rising stars. As usual, LIONSTAGE will also play its part by helping organise the event.

On 1–3 May, join us in the Pergola grounds and Wrocław's UNESCO World Heritage-listed Centennial Hall complex. In this beautiful setting, two stages will simultaneously host Poland's finest musicians. One will be at the Pergola, surrounded by water and greenery; the other inside Centennial Hall, where the party will continue until late into the night.

For the past two years, the event has been linked with the Guitar Guinness World Record, held in Wrocław’s Market Square on 1 May. In 2016, 7356 guitarists played together in the square, and this year we are hoping for even more! The requirements for musicians remain the same: play Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Joe” together with the other guitarists gathered in Wrocław’s Market Square at 16.00 on 1 May. The crowd will be supported by members of thrash metal band Kreator, hard rock supergroup The Dead Daisies, electric guitar symphony orchestra Sinfonity and, finally, Perfect. Anyone worried about not knowing the chords only needs to arrive from 10.00: as always, record founder Leszek Cichoński will be giving lessons in Hendrix. Guests visiting Wrocław for the May festival will also have access to a festival campsite directly beside the concert grounds.
