3-MAJÓWKA 2025 – THREE DAYS OF LIVE MUSIC IN WROCŁAW
The announcement for 3-Majówka 2025 brought together three days of concerts in Wrocław and the idea of music connecting generations. The Guitar World Record added a participatory dimension, inviting guitarists of different abilities to play “Hey Joe” together.

3-Majówka opens Wrocław's festival season with a meeting of generations, musical tastes and live performance styles. Its programme moves from established names to artists worth discovering on stage, welcoming devoted fans and listeners looking for unfamiliar sounds. Across three days, the focus is on the energy of performance, shared choruses and the freedom to move between musical worlds. The Wrocław setting gives the experience its own character, combining the city's rhythm with an open-air celebration. Explore the 2025 programme and see how its varied concerts come together in an event that has become a regular part of Lower Silesia's musical landscape.
3-Majówka – festival history and setting
The origins of 3-Majówka date back to the 2000s, when Wrocław's Market Square hosted the first one-day concerts to celebrate the national holiday. Over the years, the festival has grown dynamically, changing its location and scale several times – today it is a three-day music festival with several stages and extensive infrastructure. It attracts thousands of participants from all over Poland and abroad.
An integral part of the festival is the Guitar World Record – a unique event that gathers thousands of guitarists from around the world in Wrocław's Market Square every May 1st. Together, they perform Jimi Hendrix's "Hey Joe," attempting to break the world record for the number of people playing the same song simultaneously on guitars.
It also symbolically opens the May Day celebrations, and at the same time, demonstrates the strength of the musical community. The key venue for the main part of the festival is the monumental Centennial Hall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is here, in a unique setting with excellent acoustics, that the main May Day concerts take place. Next to the hall is the Pergola – a popular Wrocław outdoor space with a multimedia fountain, which creates a spectacular backdrop for evening performances after dark.
The third stage is the club space in the Conference Center, where more intimate concerts and DJ sets take place, lasting until late at night. Thanks to this diversity, 3-Majówka offers a unique festival experience – for lovers of rock, electronica, and alternative or ethnic music.
The lineup for 3-Majówka 2025 promises to be impressive. Renowned Polish and international artists representing a wide range of genres will perform across three stages, with a programme ranging from alternative rock, reggae and punk to electronica and metal.
