WROCLOVE DEEP HOUSE FESTIVAL 2026

PRESS RELEASE — ENGLISH

On 27 June 2026, Wrocław’s club scene will gain a distinctive new point of reference. This event has been designed for an informed, discerning audience that looks to music for more than entertainment. With an uncompromising commitment to the highest sound quality, the festival fills a significant gap in Lower Silesia’s cultural landscape. WROCLOVE DEEP HOUSE FESTIVAL is for those seeking a fresh perspective on electronic music events, where every detail of the sound and visuals has a clear purpose.

The festival’s unique location is central to its identity. The event will take place at Wrocław’s Pergola, which, together with the monumental Centennial Hall, forms a UNESCO World Heritage complex. This is a space where Max Berg’s visionary architecture and the raw character of concrete enter into dialogue with the open air and the element of water. This fascinating contrast will provide an ideal backdrop for the organic textures of deep house. Architectural order and the mathematical precision of modernism will meet the hypnotic fluidity of sound, giving the event a distinctive industrial, open-air character that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the country.

The festival deliberately moves away from the format of mass, hypercommercial events to create an immersive audiovisual experience. The organisers have prioritised the fundamentals of club culture: crystal-clear sound and precise separation, carefully tuned to the demanding acoustics of an open, modernist space. Minimalist, futuristic visual design will complete the experience. In place of loud effects, subtle lighting will reveal the beauty of the historic architecture, creating a coherent story that connects cultural heritage with modern technology.

The festival programme is a curated exploration of the finest qualities of house music. The line-up focuses on artists who can build long, narrative sets filled with spacious motifs, pulsating bass and nuanced sonic detail. This is music made for celebrating the moment, inviting both introspection and the shared experience of dancing beneath the open sky. WROCLOVE DEEP HOUSE FESTIVAL offers conclusive proof that contemporary electronic culture and the historic fabric of a city can coexist, creating something new, inseparable and inspiring.

TINLICKER

For more than a decade, the Dutch act Tinlicker has consistently and uncompromisingly pushed the boundaries of electronic music, cultivating a sound that is both entirely unique and deeply personal. Their inspired use of live instruments — from strings and keyboards to distinctive brass sections — has long been a powerful hallmark of the band. It clearly sets their sophisticated sound apart from traditional, conventional dance projects. Beyond this exceptional instrumentation, their music has a powerful ability to evoke a whole spectrum of emotions, carrying listeners from profound melancholy to absolute euphoria. This is undoubtedly music made for dancing, yet it also tells an exceptionally fascinating and absorbing story.

Following the spectacular, enormous success of the 2021 single “Because You Move Me” — now with more than a billion plays on streaming services — the band refused to rest on its laurels and took radical steps. They ended their collaboration with their long-standing label Anjunadeep and formed a fruitful partnership with [PIAS], while also changing their performance format: from exclusively playing DJ sets to live concerts with the powerful support of a live band. These were exceptionally bold, risky yet carefully calculated decisions. They proved essential to realising the grand artistic vision behind the phenomenal album “Cold Enough For Snow”, forthcoming in 2024.

This meticulously crafted LP quickly earned the status of a masterpiece, becoming a perfect example of exceptional skill in balancing uncompromising innovation with the highest international standards. What immediately stands out about “Cold Enough For Snow” is its captivating, almost overwhelming stylistic diversity. The tracklist includes highly melodic compositions and alluring indie-electronic productions such as “This Life” and “Nothing To Lose”, alongside much harder club tracks with darker techno shades, including the powerful “Blowfish” and the uncompromising “Revolution”. The album also contains gems such as “Strawberry”, deliberately dispensing with the monotonous four-on-the-floor beat traditionally associated with dance music.

The band produced this epic work by joining forces in the recording studio with the prestigious Metropole Orkest, a renowned Dutch orchestra specialising in jazz and pop. Together, the musicians also created a historic spectacle at the high-profile opening of the industry event ADE in late 2023. Fresh from the release of the long-awaited “Cold Enough For Snow”, the tireless Tinlicker launched a headline tour, electrifying audiences with live performances across Europe and North America and receiving invitations to appear as stars at major, influential festivals such as Pinkpop, the legendary Sziget, California’s famous Coachella, South Facing and the prestigious Portola Festival.

In spring 2025, the band’s full live line-up formally expands with an exceptional new addition: the charismatic Hero Baldwin. A regular collaborator, she enriches the trio’s sound as a full member, supporting them musically both in live performances and in studio production sessions. The band has also presented exciting new material, releasing a catchy promotional single entitled “I Want Your Freedom”. It symbolically and definitively opened their fourth, highly promising album cycle, while announcing a long list of forthcoming performances as a band supported by live musicians.

As pioneers, the extraordinary Tinlicker once again leave no room for doubt, clearly and emphatically declaring that music recognises and accepts no limitations. They continue to push artistic horizons with determination and success in the name of art in its broadest sense and a love of making music. They uncompromisingly pursue the impulses of their own authentic musical fascination, rather than taking an easy shortcut by cautiously blending into a crowd of market mediocrity and choosing the safe route to popularity on a wave of fleeting mass consumption. As one of the trio’s leading musicians once stated openly: “We firmly reject safe comfort zones or an overly cautious life.” When it comes to composing innovative music, they have just one decisive artistic condition: “There is only one rule: first and foremost, we have to like it ourselves.”

MARSH

Some artists radiate a complete and uncompromising passion for their craft. It is total immersion, absolute dedication and wholehearted commitment: a calling that means much more than a career, a love that goes beyond work and the fulfilment of personal ambitions. Tom Marshall embodies precisely this kind of untamed ambition. A favourite among fans of the renowned British label Anjunadeep and one of the breakthrough stars of melodic house, Marsh has shaped a distinctly warm, emotional sound since his debut in the middle of the last decade. Inspired by his youthful love of emotionally charged early-2000s trance and the musicality of crossover drum & bass acts such as Pendulum, he has transformed these diverse influences into a compelling, soulful style that is uniquely his own.

With three excellent albums to his name — his 2017 debut “Life On The Shore”, his critically acclaimed Anjunadeep debut “Lailonie” from 2020, and his latest work, 2023’s “Endless” — Tom’s discography contains a whole range of much-loved dance anthems. His tracks comfortably attract millions of plays on streaming services, and his releases appear on such legendary labels as Spectrum, Last Night On Earth, Cercle, SHÈN and Major Recordings (Warner).

Alongside building an outstanding reputation as a producer, Tom has established himself at the forefront of a new generation of DJs, boldly following in the footsteps of progressive house pioneers such as Eric Prydz and Sasha. His memorable headline sets have already taken him to prestigious venues such as London’s Printworks, The Brooklyn Mirage and the famous Red Rocks. Added to these are numerous sold-out appearances, including London’s Fabric and Exchange LA during the “Endless Album Tour” and the subsequent “All Night Long Tour”, where Marsh treated fans to an unforgettable all-night journey through his extensive musical spectrum.

This is the life Tom has worked hard to build since making his first beats more than a decade ago. Since moving from his native UK to his current home in North America and embracing a nomadic life of constant touring, Tom has regularly released exclusive live broadcasts on his YouTube channel every quarter, attracting millions of views. He has filmed them in remarkable locations such as Seven Sisters in the UK, Estes Park in Colorado, the Maltese Castello Zamittello and, most recently, London’s Kew Gardens. Continually searching for his own path, he still finds that his musical craft helps him express his emotions and successfully navigate life’s challenges. This immense emotional commitment and absolute dedication to art, fans and culture define Marsh and remain constant in everything he does — and everything he has yet to create.

NILS HOFFMANN

Born in Berlin and shaped by German culture and electronic music, Nils Hoffmann has always found deep solace in music. A classically trained pianist, he grew up listening to producers such as Paul Kalkbrenner and Trentemoller, which encouraged and inspired him to create melodic, deep and progressive house. Today, as one of the world’s most exciting and promising electronic music artists, Nils aims to match his idols and lead a new generation of producers and live performers.

This artist, still only 28, has already amassed more than 100 million plays across streaming platforms. In 2022, his second album, “A Radiant Sign”, was released by the acclaimed label Anjunadeep. The record has since generated more than 15 million streams, proudly reached No. 1 on the iTunes Dance/Electronic charts, received strong support from respected radio stations such as BBC and Sirius XM, and won substantial backing from music industry heavyweights including Maceo Plex and Above & Beyond.

Nils has also delivered excellent remixes for artists such as Odesza, San Holo, Emmit Fenn and Eli & Fur. His music has conquered stages on extensive tours of Europe, North America and Australia, winning over audiences at Tomorrowland, Printworks, Brooklyn Mirage and The Gorge Amphitheatre. He has also supported major stars including Ben Böhmer, Gorgon City, Franky Wah, Stephan Bodzin and Tiga.

WARUNG

Warung is the musical duo of Aaron Hopkins and Dillon Ames, who left their solo careers behind to create electronic music inspired by Balinese culture and the ethos of local, close-knit communities. The project has grown rapidly for seven years, earning recognition from prestigious labels such as Anjunadeep, Armada and Shen. Their biggest hit, “Illusive”, made Beatport history by occupying the top position in the Breaks category for a record six months.

The duo regularly perform on the world’s most important stages, including the milestone ABGT 500 in Los Angeles, Anjunadeep Open Air in New York and The Explorations Festival in Albania. Their work is supported by industry icons including Sasha, Bicep, Pete Tong, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, and their tracks are played by leading broadcasters such as BBC Radio 1 and KCRW. Despite their global success, Warung consistently preserve their organic identity and spiritual depth, continuing to build a unique name within contemporary popular culture.

REZIDENT

In house, electro, techno — and dance music more broadly — there is a unique, magical point at which a track can work equally well on a smoky dancefloor and as a repeated spiritual mantra, blurring the extraordinary boundary between pure enjoyment and a form of musical therapy. Rezident, the project of rising 26-year-old producer David Roif from Karlsruhe in the German region of Baden-Württemberg, offers clear proof that electronic music works best when these two seemingly separate worlds intertwine. Drawing heavily on the Deadmau5 music of his teenage years and learning from masters of progressive music such as the brilliant duo Bicep, Rezident is rapidly gaining enormous momentum for 2025.

Like many of his peers growing up during the technological boom of the early 2010s, Rezident began his journey by downloading different music programs onto a laptop when he was just 12. His passion was awakened by a ringtone on a classic Nokia phone, created by his sister’s friend. It was in the privacy of his room that he mastered key production techniques, such as skilful sound layering, streamlining the creative process and the valuable art of retaining perspective on a track while working on it.

Today, his intimate yet steadily expanding discography features a striking interplay of beautiful reverberating chords and strong deep house accents. They flow in and out, before sudden, sharp, forceful hi-hat sounds and intermittent whistles break through this ethereal atmosphere. These choices reflect Rezident’s deep desire for an even more minimalist and entirely sincere approach to production — a sharp contrast to his early “commercial school of beat-making”. The young artist now fully trusts himself and the distinctive vision he has developed for his project.

VONDA7

Polish-born DJ, producer, singer and label owner VONDA7, who divides her time between Berlin and Valencia, has earned considerable recognition for her outstanding productions and DJ sets. A keen ear for emotional melodies, a confident touch in programming drums and an experimental approach to vocals have become her hallmarks, attracting the attention of major DJs and radio presenters, including Sasha, Above & Beyond, John Digweed, Anja Schneider, Pete Tong, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn and Lane 8. Her music has featured in prestigious industry publications such as Mixmag, Billboard, DJ Mag, Electronic Beats, Ibiza Voice and Ibiza Spotlight. She has released tracks on highly regarded labels including Anjunadeep, This Never Happened, DAYS LIKE NIGHTS, Last Night on Earth and Einmusika.

In 2018, she moved to another level by founding her own label, art | werk. It is a space in which she has presented the full extent of her artistic vision, revealing a unique blend of styles and balancing melodic house and techno while drawing on genres such as synth-pop and indietronica. This dynamic work — bold, consistently intriguing and boundary-crossing — is a true reflection of her as both an artist and a curator.

Her journey began when she worked as a music journalist in her teens, and the real spark came during interviews with DJs and producers performing in her home city of Poznań. From that point, she began collecting music and DJing, eventually arriving at the respected Amsterdam creative institute SAE. There, her growing passion for electronic music was guided by academic education, opening a new chapter in her artistic development. She subsequently established herself not only as a globally touring artist but also as a mentor to emerging talent and label owners. As Clash magazine aptly put it: “VONDA7 is part of a new wave of electronic creation.” A versatile artist who can succeed in any role — hardworking, multifaceted and captivating — she continues her confident climb to the very top.
