Yael Horwitz: an Israeli voice combining Eastern inspirations with flamenco expression

Ethno Jazz Festival audiences have already met Yasmin Levy, a leading artist in this style; now it is time for the next star! Yael Horwitz and her band will perform on 24 February in the Gothic Hall at Stary Klasztor, ul. Purkyniego 1. “Dos Tierras – music between two lands” is the title of the concert she will present in Wrocław.

Yael Horwitz was born in Jerusalem into a multicultural family with roots in Argentina and Algeria. She embarks on a magical musical journey tracing her family origins and drawing inspiration from her childhood. After arriving in Spain, she developed her own style expressing those multicultural roots, combining Spanish music with the Mediterranean music of her home city, Jerusalem.
