WNDKR at City Sounds in Łykend: rock, soul and electronics in Michał Wendeker’s project
WNDKR, Michał Wendeker’s project, pairs rock energy and a soulful voice with electronic elements. The City Sounds announcement at Łykend introduces music ranging from subtle ballads to gritty riffs, alongside the experience of the radio-recorded “Underdog EP”.

WNDKR combines energetic rock and soul with a touch of electronica. Michał Wendeker's solo project impresses with its songs' emotional range. Original compositions, from subtle ballads to powerful, dirty riffs, are earning growing recognition among lovers of guitar sounds and intriguing, extraordinary vocals.
WNDKR comes from Lublin and draws inspiration from artists such as The Black Keys, The Heavy and John Mayer. He is equally at ease performing melancholic ballads and powerful guitar-driven songs.
His latest release, “UNDERDOG EP”, recorded during Piotr Stelmach’s programme on Polish Radio Trójka, appeared on 8 July 2013. In the Agnieszka Osiecka Studio recording, he is accompanied by outstanding instrumentalists Maciej Tokarski on bass and Michał Stawarz on drums. The entire recording radiates unusual delicacy and power at once, capturing a unique live atmosphere. A new album is planned for January 2014, with production overseen by Piotr Waglewski (Emade).
