Waglewski, Fisz and Emade with “Matka, Syn, Bóg”: an original album from the family trio
Waglewski, Fisz and Emade develop a family dialogue on “Matka, Syn, Bóg”, recorded in Warsaw studios. Lyrics by father and son meet Emade’s production, while Iwona Skwarek’s guest voice, vibraphone, piano and strings expand the trio’s sound.

The long-awaited premiere concert of the Waglewski family’s new project. After 5 years since the Platinum “Męska Muzyka”, Waglewski Fisz Emade return with a new album.
Will this album also achieve such spectacular success? One thing is certain: when the creative minds of the Waglewski family come together, the resulting music cannot be ignored. The record will be released on 25 October 2013. Its title, “Matka, Syn, Bóg”, suggests an artistic statement addressing important matters, although often with the characteristic Waglewski sense of perspective.
EMADE is the album's music producer and also plays drums on every track. The lyrics were written by Fisz (vocals, bass guitar) and Wojciech Waglewski (vocals, guitars). Most compositions are by Wojciech Waglewski. The record was made from April to August 2013 at Warsaw's Studio S-4, Studio Sound & More and Jacek Gawłowski's Studio Master Lab.
Guests on the album included Miłosz Pękalski on vibraphone, who plays with Mitch&Mitch among others; Iwona Skwarek, singer of the duo Rebeka, on vocals; Mariusz Obijalski on piano (Tworzywo, Natu); and Stefan Wesołowski on strings.
“This time, we conceived the album together, as a band… because since the previous album, which was a one-off project, Waglewski, Fisz, Emade has become a band… That means greater maturity and greater coherence in the material. After finishing and listening to the whole thing, we could not shake the feeling that, considering everything we have done so far, this is our most personal, deepest and at the same time most truthful material…” says Wojciech Waglewski of the new WFE album.
