“Solidarnie damy radę!”: the concert and events industry faces the COVID-19 crisis

In these difficult times, we stand in solidarity with the concert and events industry, which will be hit particularly hard by the coronavirus pandemic crisis. Cancelling concerts and festivals means enormous problems for organisers, promoters, agencies, subcontractors and thousands of people working on events, some of whom have already lost their livelihoods.

THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FACES COVID-19

Please read our statement on the situation surrounding the collapse of the music industry caused by COVID-19.

The crisis threatens clubs, concert halls, security and catering companies, music magazines, photographers, ambitious record labels, printers and record pressing plants. It also means extremely difficult times for bands, performers and people who make their living from music and are forced to suspend their activities indefinitely. It will affect our friends and acquaintances, with whom we have done so many wonderful things over all these years.

We are all in this together. We must hope that the industry will remain united in these difficult times and fight together for the introduction of solutions that will, at least in part, rescue the situation and enable survival.
