SOJA at Przystanek Woodstock: American reggae and “Strength to Survive”
SOJA bring American reggae to the announcement for the 19th Przystanek Woodstock with “Strength to Survive”. Melodic songs connect rock strength and a subtle blues colour with lyrics about global problems, developing the band’s socially conscious approach.

Soldiers Of Jah Army, to give the band their full name, come from the USA. Founded by singer Jacob Hemphill and bassist Bob Jefferson, they will perform on the third day of this year’s Przystanek Woodstock.
Melodic songs sharpened by rock elements and coloured with blues are now the band’s trademark. Growing more popular worldwide each year, they have won fans’ hearts through acclaimed albums, currently numbering 6. Their latest, “Strength to Survive”, appeared on 31 January 2012. Their work draws attention to important global issues. A conscious message and excellent arrangements make SOJA one of the brightest points on the American reggae map.

SOJA consolidated their position by touring with reggae heavyweights including Matisyahu, Gentleman and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. It is time for them to appear at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World, held this year on 1–3 August, traditionally in Kostrzyn nad Odrą.
