A year later than planned, after numerous controversies surrounding the Wrocław concert and the cancellation of an entire tour for health reasons, the unique Sinead O’Connor will perform in Wrocław on 22 June 2013! She appears as part of the city's celebrations, WrocLove Fest 2013, on charming Wyspa Słodowa in the heart of the city.

It will be her first Polish concert in several years and undoubtedly the most eagerly anticipated. Sinead will come to Wrocław with an expanded band prepared to deliver a magnificent stage show. This time, all the signs, along with the concerts played so far, suggest she is in excellent form, both in health and artistically.

For fans of Sinead O’Connor, the first concert following the release of her latest album, “How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?”, is a must!

Sinead O’Connor cannot be mistaken for anyone else on the music scene. Her voice is extraordinarily sensitive and heartbreaking, yet also psychedelic and unsettling. She is also a defiant, warrior queen of music. Tireless in her work despite the controversies that have surrounded her over the years, she has never given up and continues touring and releasing ever better albums.

Sinead O’Connor is undoubtedly a unique phenomenon on the music scene, and her concerts remain in the memory for a long time.

Sinead’s musical career flourished with her first hit, “Mandika”, in 1987, while the multi-platinum success of “I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got”, featuring her unforgettable version of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U”, cemented her position in contemporary popular music. The following years brought numerous collaborations and further albums, on which she experimented with genres as diverse as Irish folk on “Sean-Nós Nua” (2002) and roots reggae on “Throw Down Your Arms” (2005). She has worked with artists including Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack, The Chieftains, Asian Dub Foundation, Burning Spear and Sly & Robbie. Sinead O’Connor is an icon of Irish music, a status she has maintained throughout her 30-year artistic career.

She has released 13 albums so far, the latest, “How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?”, reaching the international market on 5 March 2012. She comes to Wrocław at the invitation of wROCKfest.pl and LIONSTAGE Management.
