RAP, R&B OR PERHAPS POP? YOU DECIDE…

Performing under the English-language alias Peter River in the My Name Is New programme, he released “An ordinary man flew higher” through Kayax Publishing. The single was warmly received by audiences and appreciated by, among others, Piotr Stelmach on Offensywa.

In 2013, he also accompanied Kraków producer Robert M, a.k.a. Rozbójnik Alibaba, in the creative process for his album “Bal Maturalny”. He added instrumental parts alongside Jan Borysewicz, among others, to “Dożylnie”, which reached more than 9 million views.

Produced by Marcin Giza, debut “INTERWAŁ” mixes energetic hits and atmospheric electronic ballads, underpinned by hip-hop-inflected lyrics and original harmonies. The artist insists his work concerns everyday life as it is: what fascinates and terrifies us. Everyone feels something, so his music need not be for a select few. On the contrary, it is for everyone, moving both mind and heart.

“‘INTERWAŁ’ is an album about time, about the breath between one thing and another, about grasping what was and what is to come,” the artist says. Guests on the debut include rising stars of the new alternative scene: the duo Jan Serce and the remarkable Koko Die, usually a member of Clock Machine.
