Laibach and Juno Reactor: Slovenian industrial music and the creators of music for “The Matrix” together
Laibach and Juno Reactor were announced together in a meeting of industrial sound and electronic scale. The article explores points in their musical dialogue, including “God Is God”, work with Ben Watkins and new versions of Laibach’s early material.

Laibach and Juno Reactor – the Slovenian industrial legends and creators of music for The Matrix in a joint concert!
Two years later, Laibach included their version of Juno Reactor’s “God is God” on Jesus Christ Superstars. The original had appeared on “Bible of Dreams” in 1997. The two groups’ paths subsequently crossed briefly on various occasions. Some time ago, Laibach invited Juno Reactor leader Ben Watkins first to produce the studio version of “Volkswagner”, then to take part in the prestigious film project “Iron Sky”, created by the makers of Star Wreck Film, the most popular internet film project of all time. They chose Laibach to compose the soundtrack. “Iron Sky” is due to be completed in early 2011.
Laibach, in turn, will present new versions of their older songs from the first half of the 1980s. A joint set by both bands on stage is also possible, provided the planets in the sky align in the right constellation.
