Enej at Eter club: an Olsztyn blend of rock, folk, ska and Ukrainian inspirations
Enej combine rock, folk and ska with Ukrainian influences in the Eter concert announcement. The Olsztyn band’s story runs from “Ulice” to “Folkorabel” and their festival experience, including the Złoty Bączek distinction at Przystanek Woodstock.

Thousands of records sold, number-one positions on major radio charts and, above all, tens of thousands of fans. For this band, an energetic mixture of rock, folk, ska and Ukrainian music has proved a recipe for major success. Enej will visit Wrocław again on 15 November, playing at Eter.
Olsztyn, 2002. Two brothers, Piotr and Paweł Sołoducha, form Enej with Łukasz Kojrys. So begins a musical adventure that, as subsequent years would show, will become a genuine success story. As with many bands, the early years are a period of musical exploration and numerous changes of personnel. By 2005, Enej are gathering real momentum, and just a year later they appear at Węgorzewo’s Union of Rock festival, now Seven Festival, winning the journalists’ award. The following year brings another major distinction: the band are asked to record the anthem for one of Poland’s largest student events, Olsztyn’s Juwenalia celebration, Kortowiada.
Their first single, “Ulice”, appeared in October 2008, followed shortly by the debut album of the same name. In 2010, the band decided to enter the Przystanek Woodstock auditions organised by Fabryka Zespołów, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation and Owsiaknet.pl. They progressed through successive rounds and appeared as one of the winners on the Main Stage of the 16th Przystanek Woodstock. The audience rated the performance so highly that the band received the festival’s Złoty Bączek award. In 2011, Enej returned to the Most Beautiful Festival in the World, and footage from their performance appeared on a DVD released by Złoty Melon.
Before the live release reaches the shops, however, the band’s second album, “Folkorabel”, arrives in November 2010. Almost a year later, it has already achieved Gold status.

2011 is a breakthrough year for the group, above all because of their appearance on Polsat television’s “Must Be The Music – Tylko Muzyka”. Outclassing thousands of competitors, Enej win over the judges and audience, eventually winning the show’s first series. Before long, the whole country knows the band, and invitations to further festivals, including Top Trendy and Heineken Open’er Festival, bring them even more fans.
The band’s third album, “Folkhorod”, premiered in November 2012. Its songs not only rule the charts but also bring further awards and distinctions. “Skrzydlate ręce” became Hit of 2012 in Radio ZET’s poll, Summer Hit of 2012 in RMF FM’s poll, and Song of the Year at Eska Music Awards… At the 2012 National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, it also won SuperPremiera, the Karol Musioł Award. This year, the band received SuperJedynki nominations in the SuperHit and SuperBand categories.
Enej show the full extent of their abilities, and above all their fantastic energy, live on stage. On 15 November at Klub Eter, you will have a chance to see that this group's success is thoroughly deserved. See you there!
