Lari Lu and “11”: original Polish lyrics, electronics and acoustic instruments

Lari Lu is an artist making her solo debut on INNERSONG, a label associated with NEXTPOP, a company known for outstanding debuts.

Lari Lu is a charismatic singer with distinctive musical phrasing and a writer of moving Polish lyrics.

Sonically, “11”, the artist’s autumn 2014 debut, is an interesting combination of contemporary electronics, drums and rare acoustic instruments such as dulcimer, sitar and viola da gamba. Original arrangements and expressive vocal arrangements somewhat elude conventional indie or electropop categories. She creates a new category of her own, stylistically closest to artists such as Lamb, Apparat, Bonobo and Björk, or some releases on NEXTPOP.

The album “11” is promoted by the single “Nad ziemią”, whose video was made by the PSYCHOKINO duo.

The album's promotional concert took place on 13 January 2015 at Warsaw's Syrena Theatre, and she will soon tour clubs across Poland. On stage, she is accompanied by an excellent group of regular collaborators:
