THE FULL PROGRAMME OF WROCŁAW’S 31st WOŚP GRAND FINALE
On this January day, thousands of Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity volunteers will take to the streets for the thirty-first time, in cities both in Poland and abroad, to raise money for medical equipment for Polish hospitals. Thanks to donors' generosity, over its years of operation the WOŚP Foundation has purchased medical equipment worth more than 1 billion 750 million zł.

We want to beat sepsis!
In the coming year, the Foundation is raising money for devices accelerating sepsis diagnosis, allowing more effective therapy through earlier targeted, appropriate treatment. This Finale supports everyone, regardless of age, not just children. The 31st Finale’s slogan is “Chcemy wygrać z sepsą! Gramy dla wszystkich – małych i dużych!” (“We want to beat sepsis! Playing for everyone, young and old!”). The WOŚP Finale lasts many hours, and we extend it with evening club concerts on days preceding the main events too.
As every year, Wrocław will play as loudly as possible! All attractions take place in the Market Square and Stary Klasztor at ul. Purkyniego 1. Everyone will find something in the square. Vehicles of every kind will appear: motorcycles, classic cars, Nawrot cars, fire engines and an MPK crane offered in a WOŚP auction. Throughout the day, Golden Retrievers will collect donations alongside volunteers, just waiting for someone to stroke their fluffy faces!
The youngest visitors certainly will not be bored: a fairground will be built especially for them, with plenty of attractions for children of all ages! Fans of guitar sounds are invited to the Guitar World Record Music Zone. There, you can pick up merchandise for Guitar World Record 2023, taking place as usual on 1 May, and perform on stage yourself to become a star of Wrocław’s WOŚP Grand Finale. There will certainly be no shortage of musical excitement.
The Market Square stage will host incredible artists. We will begin with IPS INTERNATIONAL CHOIR, a choir of forty remarkable children representing more than a dozen nationalities. It is led by IPS teachers Aleksandra Zembroń and Alicja Łopatto, who also created “Wroclaw International Performing Arts by IPS” for children and young people fascinated by music.
The stage will also welcome SHAMLA KALBELIA SAPERA GROUP, a folk dance and music ensemble from India. Their WOŚP performance will present Kalbelia, a dance typical of Rajasthan’s desert communities, alongside several other dance styles from their province, accompanied by traditional singing and music. There will be a treat for younger audiences too: “MAM TĘ MOC”, a concert of songs from Disney animated films and Akademia Pana Kleksa. Together, we will also create the Great Choir of Christmas Charity and sing the “Wrocławska piosenka”, “Mkną po szynach niebieskie tramwaje”. Wrocław’s finest guitarists will take the stage with “GITAROWE RIFFY I SOLÓWKI WSZECH CZASÓW”, bringing us some rock excitement. We will also play Jimi Hendrix’s legendary “Hey Joe” together, launching the official countdown to the Guitar World Record 2023!
An extraordinary spectacle will take place on the WOŚP stage just before the Light to Heaven. DZIUBEK BAND and GUESTS, Poland’s first professional wind orchestra, will perform. The musicians play both concert and dance programmes, as well as the most demanding classical, film and popular compositions, with a sound previously unheard in Poland. This will be a two-hour orchestral feast, with numerous well-known artists and vocalists joining the conductor as guests.
Join us even earlier for concerts at Stary Klasztor, where the fundraising music begins on Friday 27 January. Fans of good rock are invited to the venue’s Stained Glass Hall to hear bands considered the bright hopes of Wrocław’s rock scene: HOLLOW SIGN, OVERDOSE, PINK RITUAL and HIPNOTYK. On Saturday 28 January, THE BRESLAUERS, KOŁDRA, LUIZA KALITA and UNDER THE SHOWER will continue playing for WOŚP. That same day, we also invite lovers of nautical music to Stary Klasztor’s Gothic Hall, where Wrocław’s finest bands will perform: ORKIESTRA SAMANTA, ZA HORYZONTEM, JAN i KLAN, W STRONĘ PORTU, ZNIENACKA PROJECT and KRZYKAŚKI, alongside Wrocław audience favourites BANANA BOAT from Silesia.
On Sunday, we also invite you to concerts at Stary Klasztor, the second official stage of Wrocław’s WOŚP Grand Finale. At 15:30, we will begin with KOBIETY MAJĄ GŁOS!, featuring no fewer than 12 talented female vocalists from our city. Audiences already know them from television talent shows such as The Voice of Poland, Szansa na Sukces and Must Be The Music, and from numerous musical projects presented in clubs across Poland.
Next, warm reggae rhythms come from Wrocław favourites BETHEL in a special WOŚP concert. Guitar sounds and shared singing follow with “PRZEŻYJ TO SAM!”, led by Marek “Sting” Popow, playing the greatest guitar hits. Immediately after the Light to the Sky, Poznań’s MUCHY, leading Polish alternative representatives, celebrate their 18th birthday. Celebrate with us and help break another fundraising record! Do not miss it!
