AudioFeels and vocal play: voices imitating instruments, inspired by a cappella music
AudioFeels explores vocal play, using voices alone to recreate guitars, strings, drums and electronic sounds. The Wrocław concert announcement brings interpretations of familiar songs together with original compositions and material associated with “Uncovered” and “Unfinished”.

Inspired by a cappella music and artists such as Bobby McFerrin, Urszula Dudziak, Take 6, Naturally 7, Manhattan Transfer and Cosmos, AudioFeels decided to develop vocal play, a genre little known in Poland that involves imitating instruments. Using only their voices, the singers create the sounds of guitars, strings, drums and modern electronic instruments.
AudioFeels’ career began in Poznań, but they quickly won recognition among an audience of several million through the popular television show “Mam talent”, reaching the final and finishing third. Their first studio album, “Uncovered”, appeared in October 2009. Featuring covers of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sting among others, it went Gold and became Poland’s best-selling record. In 2010, the group received a Fryderyk nomination for New Face of Recording and qualified for the Band of the Year category at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole.
AudioFeels released their second album, “Unfinished”, in 2011. The double album primarily featured the group’s own compositions, alongside covers of Seal and Nirvana. Meanwhile, their performance at the International A Capella Festival in Leipzig earned them two main awards. Their talent and imaginative arrangements were also recognised in New York, where they won first prize and the audience award at the prestigious Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival competition.
The next album documents an extraordinary concert recorded at Poznań's Grand Theatre, demonstrating the band's full range of abilities and stage skills. It was released on 18 January 2013. In 2014, AudioFeels' line-up changed for the first time, but the band lost none of their power.
