Arms and Sleepers at City Sounds: trip-hop, ambient and post-rock with visuals
Arms and Sleepers combine trip-hop, ambient and post-rock with visuals that form part of their live narrative. In the City Sounds concert preview, the music of Max Lewis and Mirza Ramic meets images by Boston artist Dado Ramadani.

City Sounds invites you to a performance by American duo Arms and Sleepers, whose music crosses trip-hop, ambient and post-rock.
Alongside spectacular productions, City Sounds regularly seeks to introduce artists whose music transports listeners to another dimension and demands a little more concentration, as with Ólafur Arnalds, Port-Royal and Saschienne. The Americans' appearance is also another concert in which music and imagery will play equally important roles.
Arms and Sleepers are two musicians: Max Lewis, who plays keyboards and operates samplers, and Mirza Ramic, who plays keyboards and bass. Their performances are accompanied by excellent visuals from Boston artist Dado Ramadani.
The project came together in Boston, Massachusetts, in the summer of 2006. Since then, the band have recorded 16 stylistically diverse releases. Regular live performances of that material have earned the American duo a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic. The group frequently change their approach to the creative process, disregarding rigid genre boundaries and the limitations that come with them.
Following several concerts warmly received by Polish fans, City Sounds is delighted to invite you to their performance in Wrocław. An excellent choice for fans who appreciate the work of bands such as Telefon Tel Aviv, Archive and even Sigur Ros.
