The Polish Army Representative Artistic Ensemble will perform in Wrocław's Market Square during the Wrocław Days 2026 program, part of the ARMIA GWIAZD program. One of the most unique artistic events in Poland will grace Wrocław's Market Square during the Wrocław Days celebrations. The Polish Army Representative Artistic Ensemble, under the baton of Col. Dr. Mariusz Dziubek, will perform a special concert on June 20, 2026, combining the power of music, military tradition, and a spectacular historical reenactment. The ensemble will perform with an impressive 100-person lineup, along with soloists, dancers, a choir, and DJ GAMBIT.
The Representative Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Army (RZAWP) is the largest artistic institution in the Polish Armed Forces and one of the most recognizable ambassadors of national culture in Poland and worldwide. The ensemble inherits over 100 years of tradition in theatrical and stage groups operating at Polish Soldiers' Homes during the Second Polish Republic and fulfills Marshal Józef Piłsudski's timeless wish to create a soldier's stage where "mostly optimistic and joyful plays, instilling faith and hope in people, should be performed." The ensemble comprises soloists, a choir, a ballet, a symphony orchestra, and a concert orchestra, totaling over 150 artists: singers, musicians, dancers, and choral artists. The unique hallmark of the RZAWP are its stage costumes – faithful copies of authentic historical uniforms from the warriors of Mieszko I, through the winged hussars of Jan III Sobieski, to the present day.
The ensemble's warehouses house over 1,200 costumes and props, the diversity, richness of which, and richness of decoration and color, are unmatched on Polish stages. This is not just an aesthetic feast – it's a living, emotional lesson in the history of Polish arms.
The ensemble's achievements to date are impressive: over 60,000 concerts in Poland and over 200 tours abroad, including to Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, South Korea, China, the United States, and Canada. In 1994, the ensemble performed at a special audience for John Paul II. The ensemble's portfolio also includes over 100 CDs of Polish patriotic songs and numerous productions for Polish Television and cinema. All of its performances are warmly applauded by audiences and complimented by music critics for their artistry and mastery of performance.
The Wrocław Days Concert will take place on June 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM in Wrocław's Market Square. The event is open to the public, with free admission. It's a unique opportunity to experience a live performance combining all musical genres and styles, with a historical setting that will delight both the youngest and the most discerning music lovers.
