Global blues-rock star and undisputed guitar titan Joe Bonamassa will return to Poland for his only concert of 2026. The artist will perform on November 11th at Wrocław Centennial Hall, a monumental UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique event will take place as part of the prestigious Ethno Jazz Festival series, in collaboration with the World Guitar Record, the largest guitar festival held annually in the capital of Lower Silesia.

Joe Bonamassa is a figure whose biography could serve as a definition of musical destiny. Born in upstate New York, he grew up surrounded by instruments in his father's music store, which allowed him to master the basics of guitar by the age of four. As a twelve-year-old "wunderkind," he gained the admiration of the genre's legend, BB King, for whom he opened concerts, inspiring admiration with his mature sound. King, deeply impressed by the teenager, predicted a career without limits for him. Shortly thereafter, Joe co-founded the band Bloodline with the sons of such greats as Miles Davis and Robby Krieger, which laid the foundation for his professional career. Today, after decades on the scene, Bonamassa holds the record for the highest number of releases on the Billboard Blues Chart, with 29 of his releases debuting at number one, a feat unmatched by any other artist in history.
Over the course of his impressive career, the musician has released over fifty albums, including studio projects, captivating live recordings from the world's most prestigious venues, such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Vienna State Opera, and albums with supergroups like Black Country Communion and Rock Candy Funk Party. His style is a unique fusion of Chicago blues, '60s British rock, and the technical precision honed under the tutelage of, among others , Danny Gatton. His latest album, "Breakthrough," is further evidence of the artist's enduring creativity, also renowned for his curation of music history. His private collection of rare vintage instruments and amplifiers, known to fans as "Bona-seum," numbers hundreds of unique pieces, including legendary Gibson Les Paul "Burst" models from 1958-1960. Bonamassa is not only a virtuoso, but also a philanthropist – through his foundation, Keeping the Blues Alive, he actively supports music education in schools and helps musicians in need, ensuring that the blues legacy survives for generations to come.

The Wrocław concert promises to be an extraordinary spectacle, combining the raw energy, elegance of jazz, and the power of rock with a technique that has set global standards for years. For nearly two decades, the Ethno Jazz Festival has hosted artists of the caliber of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and Pat Metheny, and this year's edition, enhanced by a performance by Bonamassa, is shaping up to be one of the most important music events in Poland in 2026. The partnership with the World Guitar Record further underscores the unique nature of this endeavor, making November 11th a must-see date on the calendar of every lover of music that flows straight from the heart and strings.
