Wrocław University of Science and Technology’s Juwenalia 2015 is fast approaching!
“We begin with the traditional Breakfast with the Rector,” says Karolina Rebzda, chair of the Juwenalia committee. “Sandwiches, sweet snacks, drinks and special limited-edition PWr mugs await students. We meet at 10.00 in the Student Culture Zone.”
The first day also includes Wampiriada, language-themed Juwenalia and Qlturalia, where participants can test themselves in a piano competition or hear tenor soloists in concert.
Tuesday begins with another ŻAKtando, a unique technical-themed dictation contest. From 16.30, music will reign at the Wittiga Street residences. For the first time in PWr Juwenalia history, students can dance during the Night of DJs. The eagerly awaited P.I.W.O. Light Show closes the programme. This year, it is organised with Breslaux. The special musical and lighting spectacle, Breslaux Light Show, is scheduled for 21.00.
Wednesday will focus on concerts, including Pokahontaz and Mesajah, and the students' eagerly awaited barbecue night. Earlier, join us for a demonstration by the Apanonar academic society, whose members will perform incredible motorcycle tricks. Marcin “Korzeń” Głowacki, one of the world's best stunt riders, will also show the audience his motorbike acrobatics.
On Thursday 7 May at 11.00, a student procession will set off from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology campus. The traditional parade of dancing, imaginatively dressed young people will pass through Wrocław's streets and end its march at the popular “Wittigowo”.
