WhoMadeWho at City Sounds in Stary Klasztor: the Danish band and a live return

WhoMadeWho pair original songs with a live energy that has taken them to stages alongside Soulwax, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem. The announcement of the Danish band’s return to Poland concerns a City Sounds concert in the Gothic Hall at Stary Klasztor.

WhoMadeWho, stars of the Tauron Nowa Muzyka festival, return to Poland. They will appear as part of City Sounds on 26 March. The concert takes place in the Gothic Hall at Stary Klasztor.

WhoMadeWho are live dynamite, delivering unforgettable, spectacular experiences. They proved this alongside Daft Punk, Soulwax, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem and at this year’s Tauron Nowa Muzyka in Katowice. Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme is another major fan. Unsurprising, since this explosive mixture of electropop melodies, rock ’n’ roll attitude and dance energy excites audiences worldwide.

Singer and bassist Tomas Høffding and guitarist and singer Jeppe Kjellberg, who sports a truly Scandinavian beard, make a charismatic pair of frontmen. Tomas Barfod and Birk Nevel alternate on drums. The band debuted in 2005 and has since recorded several excellent albums, always accompanied by superb videos. Although the Danes draw generously on the rich traditions of alternative rock and club music, their style is more than simply dance rock. Their latest album, “Dreams”, is a collection of modern dancefloor hits, rhythms and infectious melodies! Following their enthusiastically received performance at South by Southwest in 2010, a reviewer for Seattle’s “The Stranger” wrote: “WhoMadeWho is not only the rockingest dance band or danciest rock band but both the danciest dance band and the rockingest rock band”.

We will see this unique line-up in Poland on 26 March at Stary Klasztor.
