BNDK
BNDK is a duo that came together naturally – without any image plan or calculations.
The band is formed by Jan Benedek – guitarist, composer (Warszawa, King, Pochodnia), co-creator of the 1990s T.Love sound – and his son Gabor Benedek, representing a younger generation who thinks about music differently: more through the prism of sound, production, and emotion than mere form. Together, they have created a project where two worlds meet – rock tradition and contemporary sonic sensibility. To date, they have collaborated with Paweł Krawczyk (Hey), Hubert Gasiul (Wilki), Sidney Polak (T.Love), Aleksander Orłowski, and Rafał Malicki.

TEAM PRESENTATION
There’s no pretending here – BNDK is an authentic family collaboration, where the relationship between father and son evolves into something closer to an artistic partnership. They describe their bond as a “brotherly connection” – rooted not in hierarchy, but in mutual understanding. This dynamic translates directly into their music: it carries both experience and spontaneity, paired with meticulous attention to detail. As Jan puts it, “I didn’t want to play with Gabor because he’s my son, but because he feels rock the same way I do” – a line that perfectly sums up the heart of their work together.
Their sound can be described as modern rock infused with retro elements and subtle pop influences. It’s not a return to the past, but rather a conscious continuation of a way of thinking about songwriting – where the riff, the lyric, and the emotion matter just as much as the sound itself. BNDK’s tracks echo classic rock while embracing contemporary production, giving them a fresh edge on the Polish music scene.
Their debut single “Szał”, released in autumn 2024, immediately caught listeners’ attention and landed on Antyradio’s Turbo Top chart – a clear sign that the project was resonating. Soon after came “Rzucam kości”, followed by “3:30”, sung by Gabor. The latter confirmed that BNDK was no coincidence – it again climbed high on the Turbo Top list thanks to listeners’ votes. Their songs began appearing on multiple radio stations, and the audience grew increasingly intrigued by this unusual configuration – father and son, but with no trace of family cliché.
In September 2025, BNDK released their EP featuring six tracks, including a cover of “Warszawa” by T.Love – a song originally composed by Jan Benedek himself. The choice was symbolic: a return to one of the cornerstones of Polish rock, reimagined in a new, intergenerational interpretation. The cover premiered on Polsat’s “Halo tu Polsat” show, accompanied by a music video that highlighted the emotional depth of this artistic reunion.
BNDK combines stage energy with experience and craftsmanship. The chemistry between the musicians is palpable – it’s that natural, effortless connection that draws in audiences and evokes genuine emotion. On stage, they’re joined by seasoned musicians Piotr Bińkul and Janusz Boruch, creating a sound that’s technically refined yet still organic and alive.
BNDK is proof that music can still be honest and unfiltered by trend algorithms. Their work doesn’t aim to please everyone – it’s a steady pursuit of what they believe in and stand by.
Today, the duo is working on a full-length album and planning a concert tour. Their strength lies not only in their name, but in the fact that they’re not trying to recreate the past – they’re shaping their own present. In an era when most music projects are born in spreadsheets and die on social media, BNDK reminds us that music can still be the beating heart of it all.
