DEPECHE MODE
This outstanding Polish trio performs the best of Depeche Mode. From classics to the latest compositions, they present diverse arrangements performed by outstanding instrumentalists, complemented by the phenomenal voice of the charismatic radio presenter. The acronym GMW comes from the band members' surnames: Gołębski, Maszyński, and Wełyczko.
GMW PLAY DEPECHE MODE selects the best songs from over 40 years of Depeche Mode's history, performing them both in a style close to the original and in bold, modern arrangements. The band was invited to participate in the worldwide covers project "Songs of Faith and Devotion," published by the German magazine Orkus. Their interpretations have garnered praise from both journalists and longtime Depeche Mode fans.
GMW performed at the 30th anniversary of one of the largest Polish fan clubs in Katowice, at the Lloyd's Factory in Bydgoszcz, at the Old Monastery, at the Podwodny Wrocław festival, and at concerts in Ireland.

Paul Gołębski
A journalist and radio presenter, known as the host of the popular "Good Morning in Wrocław" show on Radio RAM. During the pandemic, he and his colleagues spoke about life in lockdown, using music from Depeche Mode's acclaimed album "Violator." The band recorded nine songs, including "Enjoy the Silence" and "Personal Jesus," for which music videos were also created. The original project attracted the attention of fans, who quickly began demanding concerts.
Waldemar Maszyński
A pianist and arranger, he collaborates with leading artists and on a variety of musical projects. His portfolio includes concerts with Mesajah, Roger Treece at the Sudecka Philharmonic, the duo Chillove, collaborations with theaters, radio events like Piano Day with Leszek Możdżer, and evenings of Argentine tango. At GMW, Maszyński skillfully blends vintage and modern styles, enriching his arrangements with the original tones characteristic of Depeche Mode.
Marcin Wełyczko
A guitarist who honed his craft, drawing inspiration from masters like Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, and Allan Holdsworth, he introduces his own guitar riffs into his interpretations of Depeche Mode songs, complementing Maszyński's electronic arrangements, and also recreates Martin L. Gore's signature solos.
